It was late planning, but just 2 weeks after my youngest son visited, my recent college graduate visited for a few days. He deserved some time off for his hard work and studies. He couldn’t have come at a better time. I really needed it.
He just wanted to “touch crystal clear water” on a tropical island. It’s been his dream for years. So, we made it happen. He was mesmerized by the electric aqua color of Whale Point Bay, and preferred it because of the light waves. But he was just as happy west.
We also hiked to the lighthouse while he was here but I only got pictures of the amazing view of Cane Bay! I didn’t even get any pictures of the cool-down at Monk’s Bath!
We cut fresh coconuts, chopped open at home and enjoyed with a sustainable, stainless steel straw. Local eggs and pineapples with some fresh baked pan de aqua rounded out the breakfast.
I couldn’t be happier getting to host my son. Looking forward to visiting him when he relocates for his new job.
Cheers my son!
